The Vicar
Our Vicar is Reverend Jenny Clarke. She joined us here in June 2025. Jenny grew up in a village on the outskirts of Bradford in Yorkshire. Jenny studied European History and Politics at Edge Hill University in West Lancashire. She then trained as a primary teacher and during that time she became a Christian at her local church.
Through that church she was able to study for a foundation degree in theology and explore her calling to ordination. After training at Ripon College, Cuddesdon in Oxfordshire, she served her curacy in Halifax in the diocese of Leeds. After curacy she felt the call to move to the Church in Wales and spent three years serving in the Bro Eleth Ministry Area on the island of Anglesey.
She is a Welsh learner (fulfilling a childhood dream), and also enjoys trips away with her dog in her campervan. She is a science fiction fan and also an amateur artist.
